Dr. Ildefonso Labrot

Optimistic and good-humored, his colleagues say he is easy to work with thanks to his character. A calm man, according to his wife, whom he adores and deeply admires. He only gets nervous at the Los Cármenes stadium and at his children’s games; not even on his wedding day. A voracious reader and passionate about Literature, his children say he is a bit of a geek because he studies strange things without any teacher forcing him to. He is now embarking on a doctorate in History and Arts, deepening his knowledge of surgery and the surgeons who preceded us in the 18th century.

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Granada (1994-2000), accesses through the MIR system to his specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital Virgen de las Nieves (2002-2007). He obtained a Master’s Degree in Tissue Engineering in 2009.

He complements his training in surgery and facial aesthetics, first doing a stay at the Teknon Clinic in Barcelona and later (2015) obtaining the degree of Master in Aesthetic Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid

Both at the University and during his specialization he coincides with Dr. Capitan, with whom he has a fraternal friendship. From 2007 to 2011 he developed part of his activity with Drs. Simon and Capitán, coming into contact with the FFS.

After almost twenty years as a specialist at the University Hospital of Jaén in Dr. Acebal’s team, he brings his extensive surgical experience and enthusiasm to Facialteam.
