What should I take on the day of my FFS Surgery?

You should leave any objects of value in your lodgings.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can remove easily.

Do not wear jewellery, make-up, nail polish, hair clips or contact lenses on the day of the operation. Remove all piercings and earrings. If you are wearing hair extensions, they should be removed before surgery if forehead reconstruction is being performed.

Feel free to bring a laptop or tablet to the hospital, you will spend some time in the bed. Some distraction during this period will come in handy, bring a good book or some magazines.

Don’t forget a charger for your devices. Being able to communicate with your family and having a fully charged battery to watch some movies will make your stay a lot more comfortable.
