Frequently Asked Questions
Is it normal to have hair loss after forehead surgery?
Sometimes a temporary hair loss around the scar or even different areas on your head may arise during the postoperative period (from the beginning up to 4 months after surgery). Although this does not commonly happen, it can be a collateral, temporary effect of an operation, usually caused by trauma (meaning physical, chemical or both).
The hair should start recovering after 4-6 months after the surgery without any kind of treatment. Minoxidil Foam can be used to help the hair grow faster, but always make sure that the incision is closed and completely healed.
