How long does it take for my hair to grow after a Hair Transplant?
It takes some patience for the new hair to grow in fully after the hair transplant. Below indication is applicable to scalps that have not been operated on previously.
- 1st Month
The follicular units will fall out and take root. They are in a resting phase. - 3 Months
The follicular units begin to grow, around 20-30% growth. Hair growth may not be symmetrical. - 6 Months
General growth in quantity and quality of the new hair, 40-60% growth. - 9 Months
60-80% growth; there may be more growth in some cases. - 12 Months
Usually, the new hair has grown in, although it may improve in terms of quality in the following months.
