Livestreams

Lilia’s livestreams are a collection of over 50 colorful conversations with opinion-leaders on a variety of topics of interest to trans people as well as their loved ones.

Produced by our community outreach specialist, Lilia Koss, recordings of past episodes are publicly available on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram in the case of the “Tea Time” series.

The programs put important issues center stage with a diverse representation of special guests involved in the community. The ultimate aim is to inform, raise awareness and provide visibility of the many realities that exist today for trans people and their families.

Dr. Colt St. Amand, Author of “Stacey’s Not a Girl”

Colt St. Amand, PhD, MD, (he/they), is a Licensed Psychologist and physician with expertise in gender and sexuality. Dr. Colt is an openly transgender, queer, Two Spirit man who works with LGBTQI+ children, teens, adults and their loved ones. One of his/their many accomplishments is authoring the children’s book, “Stacey’s Not a Girl,” which is the story of a child who knows they are not a girl like everyone says they are, but at the same time, they don’t fit into the boy box either.

D. M. Maynard has been an educator in New York for more than thirty years. She has used her expertise in teaching to create workshops and present internationally. Her hope is to empower the voices of families of gender diverse children and the partners who are in a relationship with individuals questioning their gender or now identify as transgender and/or non-binary as they navigate their own journeys.

There are over 50 live recordings available on Facialteam’s YouTube channel, helping both patients, healthcare professionals and friends & families of people in transition to get educated on topics affecting the community.
